Mrs. Melwyn Linton Booker

Funeral services for Mrs. Melwyn Linton Booker will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. W.D. Pigott officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Booker, 67, died on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and served as secretary. She was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn and former teacher at Jefferson Davis Academy.

She is survived by her son, Ken Booker and wife, Nicole of Clinton, MS a daughter, Rena Ellen Wilkerson and husband, Steve of Daleville five grandchildren: Jonathan Booker, Cameron Booker, Landon Booker, Tara Wilkerson and Leo Wilkerson two brothers: Owen Linton and wife, Cheryl of Baton Rouge, LA and Sammy Linton and wife, Wanda of White Oak, GA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Mac Booker and her parents, William and Edna Owen Linton.

Pallbearers will be Lee Linton, Matt Mathis, Curtis Shumate, Wade Linton, Bob Linton and Scott Samson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 5 7 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
