Michael Carson

Funeral services for Mr. Michael R. Mike Carson will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Monsignor Elvin Sunds officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Carson, 54, died Thursday, April 15, 2010. He was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a former employee of Dixie Bowl Lanes and bowled four 300 perfect games.

He is survived by two sons: Steven Carson and Adam Carson both of Meridian former wife, Donna Carson two sisters: Carol Ann Long and husband, Frank of Meridian Louise Ivey and husband, Gene of Meridian a brother, Donald Carson and wife, Susan of Gulfport a niece, Kellie Simpson and husband, Rickey of Quitman five nephews: Gil Miller and wife, Katie of Enterprise Alan, David, John and Patrick Carson all of Gulfport Godmother and aunt, Jo Bullock.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jane and Joe Carson, a niece, Jennifer Long.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Rivers, Mark Scarborough, Alan Evans, Rickey Simpson, Jack Blythe and Richard Belvin. Honorary pallbearers will be League Bowlers from Dixie Bowl Lanes.
