Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred S. Shaw will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00am at Cuba Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Carlisle officiating. Burial will be at Clay Memorial Cemetery in Cuba, AL. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shaw, 92, of Cuba, AL, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Cuba Baptist Church and long time resident of Cuba, AL.

Survivors include her son: James L. Jimbo Shaw and his wife, Kathy of Cuba, AL; daughter: Linda Anderson and friend, Bob Hicks of Cuba; grandchildren: Tammy Shaw of Brandon, MS; Jeff Shaw and wife, Christy of Cuba; Polly Stephens of Meridian; Frank Boyd and wife, Sue of Cuba; Chris Patton and her husband, Randy of Navarre, FL and Jackie Ray and husband, Matt of Navarre, FL; great grandchildren: Adam and Hayden Shaw; Gage, Justin, Carter and Celia Stephens; Jonathan Sartin and Laura Ray; sister, Eva Rae Stur
ant of Marion, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Mary Shaw of Cuba; a special friend, Leann Staton of Brandon, MS and caregivers: Bessie Hunter and Mary Summerville.

She was preceded by husband, Willie Lester Shaw and her son, David Shaw.

Pallbearers will be Frank Boyd, Jeff Shaw, Jimmy Upchurch, Russell Williams, Randy Patton and Matt Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Shaw, Hayden Shaw, Gage Stephens, Justin Stephens, Carter Stephens and Celia Stephens.

Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to service at the church.
