A private graveside service will be held Saturday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens for Mrs. Mildred Inez Williams. Pastor Triston Rowell will officiate the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barham Funeral Home, Forest Lawn Chapel.
Mrs. Williams, 85, of Meridian, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Tuesday at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cincinnati, OH and was a proud military wife for twenty years. Mrs. Williams was married to the love of her life, Kenneth Williams, for sixty-four years. She was a forty-four-year cancer survivor and participated in the Relay for Life activities.
Mrs. Williams loved her church family at Northside Church of Christ where she was a member for over fifty years.
She retired from Citizens National Bank as a PBX operator for over 18 years.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband Kenneth; children Cindy Lusignas (Phil) and Scott Williams; grandchildren James Rainey, Jason Rainey, Christina Rainey, Katie McKeehan, Mary Cornwall and Janie Lusignas along with twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Kermit Armintrout and sister Patricia Jean Kane.
A public memorial service will be held at a later date.
