Funeral services for Minnie Rose Galyean will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Goodman officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Galyean, 94, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 in Meridian. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She retired from Marks-Rothenberg Department store. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family always came first.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Galyean; son, Fred Galyean; parents, William and Aileen Prestridge; daughter-in-law, Donna Galyean; sisters, Mary Alice Booth and Jean Williams.

She is survived by her daughters: Sherry Galyean, Kaye Galyean and Patricia Neal and her fiancé, Preston Pearson; grandchildren: Shaun (Chastity) Galyean, Heather (Rodolfo) Rios, Chase (Madi) Neal, Amber Neal, Chris Galyean, Clint Galyean; great grandchildren: Garrett, Cooper, Clark and Gracie Galyean; Isaiah, Aaron and Summer Rios; Shawn Michael and Richie Galyean; brother, William Prestridge and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Shaun Galyean, Chase Neal, Chris Galyean, Cooper Galyean, Garrett Galyean and Rodolfo Rios.

Visitation will be from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the church before service.
