Graveside services for Minnie Louise Scott will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00am at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Scott, 90, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was a nurse at Riley Hospital for 25 years and worked a few years at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg. Even after retirement, she continued to be a caregiver. She was loved by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Scott, Sr.; parents, William and Lona Chatham and a brother, Charles L. Chatham.
She is survived by her son, Felton Scott, Jr.; daughters: Debbie (Mitch) Sturm and Joyce (Jimmy) George; brother, James M. (Donis) Chatham; grandchildren: Jason Scott, Bryan (Sabrina) Sturm, Heather (James) Margrave, Jimmy George, Jr., Zach George, Micah (Karena) George and Faith George; great grandchildren: Alex Sturm, Haley Sturm, Emma Boles, Caleb Thrash, Madison Margrave, Scarlett Pinson and Carson George.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
