Myrtle Howard

Graveside Services for Mrs. Myrtle L. Howard will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Archusa Memorial Gardens, with the Revs. Jack Bonner and Parker Chancellor officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Howard, 85, of Quitman, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 in Infinity Hospice of Meridian. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons: J.L. Jake Dearman and wife , Nelda of Meridian; Sam Dearman and wife, Glenda of Lockhart, TX; daughter, Elizabeth Smith of Stonewall, MS; two sisters: Daisy Dew of Quitman, MS; Rachel Strickland of Waynesboro, MS; and numerous grand children and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband, Joe Henry Howard and two sons, Jerry and Roger Dearman.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
