Myrtle Stallings

Graveside service for Ms. Myrtle Lucille Stallings will be held October 5, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., with her nephew, Rev. Mike May officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Ms. Stallings, 97, died October 2, 2019, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was retired from Sears Company after 40 years of service.  She was a longtime, faithful member of Central Baptist Church and very active as long as her health permitted. She loved talking about her family, her faith in God and reading her Bible.

Survivors include her brother Joe Stallings of Meridian and sister-in-law Eula Mae Stallings of York, AL; nieces and nephews: Robert Starnes and his wife Marilyn of Magnolia, TX, Mike May and his wife Karen of Brandon, MS, Gina Hamburg and her husband Randy of Cypress, TX and Teresa Nester and her husband Bryce of Meridian, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sol and Minerva Stallings; three sisters, Verdie Lee Starnes, Velma Stallings and Ruth May and one brother William Stallings.  The family wishes to thank Home Instead Senior Care for their excellent care and love shown to Myrtle.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Baptist Church.
