Mrs. Novella J. Ellis

Graveside services for Mrs. Novella J. Ellis will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Archusa Memorial Gardens in Quitman. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ellis, died on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Rush Hospital. She raised six children and three grandchildren. Upon retirement from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan, she relocated to Mississippi. She enjoyed spending her later years with her grandson, Max. She was very loved by her family.

Survivors include: daughter, Lisa Gonzalez Neal and husband, John of Quitman; son, Scott Ellis; sister Juanita Hamilton and husband, Bruce of Madison Heights, Michigan; three grandchildren: Shannon Kubasa, Simone Davis, Jacob Cuevas and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; niece and nephew: Mr. and Mrs. Denny and Donna Edwards of Madison Heights, Michigan; and two dear friends, Pauline Leach and Garland Cheatham.

She is preceded in death by her children: Janie Simons, Alfred Spanky Gonzalez, Shawn Ellis and David Cheatham and her sister, Aleen Winston;

Pallbearers will be Jacob Cuevas, Jonathon Fella, Michael Neal, John Neal, Jr., David Neal and Christopher Simons.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home.
