Services for Oakie Manns will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Webb Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Manns, 80, of Toomsuba, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean War.
Survivors include his sons: Garner Kemp of Toomsuba, and Joe D. Manns of Tuscaloosa, Ala. grandchildren: Tabatha Griffin, Elizabeth Manns, Joe W. Manns, Tipper Manns, Lauren Manns, and Tracey Brasher greatgrandchildren: Emily Knight, Hunter Knight, Mason Knight, Tater Reid, Dylan Tabor, Cheyenne Griffin, and William Reese brothers: Eddie and Gary Manns and sister, Myrtle Riedy.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John Davis.
Pallbearers will be Leland Moore, Earl Moore, Sam Moore, Ralph Moore, Asa Boswell, and Donald Hicks.
