Mrs. Alexander, 66, of Scooba, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at John C. Stennis Hospital in DeKalb, MS.
Pam was a long-time member of DeKalb Methodist Church. She devoted 29 years of service to Waste Management, where she was a Technical Service Manager. She enjoyed painting, trips to the mountains, and riding the motorcycle with her husband. Pam never met a stranger and was the life of any social event she attended. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Vic Alexander; children, Leanne A. Johnson (Neel) and Malcolm “Mal” Paul Alexander (Denise); grandchildren, Garron and Landon; brothers, George Robert Swearingen and Marc Swearingen; brother-in-law, Al Alexander (Mamie); sister-in-law, Kim Russell (Frankie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Eldridge and Winnie Lee Stewart Swearingen.
Pallbearers will include Ernie Watt, Jimmy Hildreth, Garron Dickson, Landon Dickson, Chris Swearingen, and Dylan Swearingen.
Honorary pallbearers will include George Robert Swearingen, Al Alexander, Frankie Russell, and Buster Orr.
The family would like to give special thanks to Johnnie Pearl Spencer, as well as her other caregivers, for the compassion and help they have given Pam through the years.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the church.
