b. April 8, 1964

Paula “ Madre” Denison, 57, of Meridian, MS. sadly passed away at Anderson Regional Medical
Center surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Morgan City, Louisiana, she never shied away from her love of music and having a good
time. Paula was an old soul, full of life and love and never met a stranger. Her love for her
children, grandchildren, friends and her fur baby “Toot” was undenying. She was a fighter and
she fought until she took her very last breath. A true Cajun Princess. To know her was to love
her.
She is survived by the father of her children, Dino Denison; son, Ruben Denison (Rebecca
Smith) and two daughters, Brandi Cook (Johnathan Williams) and Brooke Denison (Billy
Harper); two sisters, Melissa Stoute, Christine Stoute, and honorary sister and best friend,
Sherry Bateman (Terry, Robin and Jason Bateman); Grandkids, Jaden and Libby Hollinsworth,
Devin Denison, Blakely and Hailey Smith; several nieces and nephews and numerous other
family members and friends.
Paula was preceded in death by parents, Chester Leger and Theresa Stoute; brother, Chet
Leger; and her fur baby “Toot”.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at
Webb & Stephens Funeral Home.
