Pauline Barfield

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Bond Barfield will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Stephens Funeral Home in DeKalb, MS. Bro. Rick Piggot will be officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery, Dekalb, MS. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Barfield, 92, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019, at North Pointe Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in York, AL to John and Bertha Bond. She was very devoted to her church, Dekalb Presbyterian until her health declined to the point that she was unable to attend.

She is survived by her children Sheryl Beddingfield (Mike) and John V. Barfield Jr. (Pat); 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Vernon Barfield Sr.; a son Wayne Bond Barfield and a granddaughter Madelaine Beddingfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Vietnam Veterans of America.
