Mrs. Peggy May Tingle

Services for Mrs. Peggy Tingle will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00 am, at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Wade Phillips officiating.  She will be laid to rest, next to her husband Charlie, in Zion Cemetery in Kemper County.

Mrs. Tingle passed away on June 5, 2019 in Reno, Nevada.  She was a graduate of Collinsville High School and East Mississippi Jr. College and she excelled in her studies.  Peggy worked as a computer programmer for USF&G Insurance and as an accounting clerk for Culpepper and Culpepper CPA.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church Meridian and enjoyed working and driving for Meals on Wheels.  She loved the Lord and serving others.  Traveling was a way of life for Peggy, whether it was an RV trip to Alaska, a drive to the West Coast, a flight to England or just a drive across town with friends to go out to eat.  She was faithful to Zion Church and cemetery and in honor of the May family we ask that donations be made to the perpetual care of the Zion Cemetery: Attn. Hollis Calvert/Treasurer  1890 Zion Road, Collinsville, MS 39325.  Peggy was a breast cancer survivor, and in hopes of helping and aiding in research, donations can be made in her honor to the Jeff Anderson Regional Cancer Center in Meridian also. Family and friends can send their regards to Lara Bell 1870 Ryan Way, Fallon, Nevada 89406.

She is survived by a sister, Martha Gene May; Niece, Lara May Bell (James); Sister in law, Bobbie May; Nephews, Douglas May (Debbie), Victor May, William Alan Day (Suzanne); Step son, Billy Tingle; Good friends, Linda Williams and Pat Stokes; several great nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Tingle; Mother and Father, Rena Beeman May and Eugene Victor Debs May; Sister, Mary M. Day and brother in law, Frank Day; Brother, Jimmie May; Niece, Nancy May Purvis; Nephew, Christopher Day; Great Nephew, Alex Day; Stepdaughter, Sherra Vincent; and Stepson, Charlie Tingle Jr.
