Services for Preston W. Pearson, Sr. will be held Wednesday at 11 am at Webb Chapel with Bro. Mike Boles and Bro. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will be at Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pearson, 79, of Meridian, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his residence. He was a member of Evangel Temple. He served his country for six years in the Marine Corps and 31 years with the Air National Guard.

He is survived by his sons, Brad Richardson (Barbara), Rodney Pearson of Oxford, and Preston Pearson, Jr. (Trish); daughter, Cindy Hagwood (Billy); grandchildren, Ethan Cox, Alan Hagwood (Ashley), Ashley Holdiness (Corey), Nick Richardson, and Tiffany Watson (Joey); six great granddaughters; brothers, Charles Pearson (Cathy), and Robert Pearson (Judy); sister, Mary Ann Robbins; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friend and neighbor, Mr. Wilson.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Maxine Mosley Pearson and Yvonne Martin Pearson; and his parents, Preston Hall and Mary Louise Pearson.

Pallbearers will be Alan Hagwood, Corey Holdiness, Keith Martin, Darrin Martin, Ethan Cox, and Joey Watson.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-11am at the funeral home.
