Rachel Rawson

Mrs. Rawson, 85, of Meridian, passed away on April 4, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be held Sunday, April 7th, at James F. Webb Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., with service to follow in the James F. Webb Chapel. Burial will be at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Richard Wallace and Bro. Tommy Jones will be officiating.
She is survived by her husband C.H. "Gabe" Rawson; children, Steve (Julie), Debbie (Ted), Randy, and Tim (Sharla); grandchildren, Jennifer Toogood, Jeff Rawson (Stacy), Josh Rawson(Margaret), Chris Rutledge(Anna, Brandon Rutledge(Katie), Rachel Landry(Colt), Casey Rawson, Gabriel Rawson, Alesha Bailey(Richie), David Rawson(Paige), Jonathan Rawson(Paige); great grandchildren, Aubrey and Graham Toogood, Jane and Julia Rawson, Helena Rutledge, Quest and Jett Landry, Carter Rawson, Sam and Noah Bailey, Rhett and Harley Rawson, and Colin Rawson, and her precious friend and caretaker Tina Herrod.
Mrs. Rawson was a devout member of Carmel Baptist Church where she and Gabe raised their four children. Later, they attended Westwood Baptist, and then Bebron Baptist where she loved attending Sunday School and church socials.
Rachel loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was known best as "Mamaw Rachel". All who knew her loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilliard and Orlena McMullen; sisters, Betty, Carolyn, and Barbara; and by her precious great granddaughter Madilyn Rae Rawson.
