Rachel Williams

A private graveside service for Rachel Maxine Williams, 88, will be Wednesday, May 6,2020, at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Marty Harper will be officiating. Ms. Williams died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Anderson’s Hospital. Stephens Funeral Home is handling her arrangements.

Ms. Williams was a hard-working woman, having worked all her life. She was a very stern woman who enjoyed working crossword puzzles and crocheting.

She is survived by two sons, Howard Wayne Williams and Bobby Lamar Williams; grandchildren Christina Ann Williams, Benjamin Paul Williams, Melody Linza-McLain, John Andrew Williams, Jennifer Joy Williams, Elizabeth Williams Ferguson and Peter Jordan Williams along with 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Bessie Brock and a daughter Linda Williams Rhodes.
