Randolph "Randy" Eakes

Randolph "Randy" Eakes, passed away on June 26th at his home in Meridian. A Visitation will be held at Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes North on Thursday, June 29th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Family and friends can come together to celebrate Randy's exceptional life and share memories with one another. Burial will follow at McClain Chapel Cemetery with Jody Dyess officiating the committal.

Born on August 11th, 1948 in Philadelphia, Randy moved to Meridian where his beloved wife Teresa lived. He was known for his kind nature and will be missed by those knew him. 

Beyond his successful career, Randy enjoyed spending time fishing and woodworking. However, above all else, Randy truly cherished spending time with his grandchildren and family. His proudest accomplishment in life was becoming a grandfather and great-grandfather to the many children he leaves behind.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Teresa Eakes, their children Wendy Dyess (Jody), Angela Kingery (T.J.), Sam Eakes (Brittney), as well as grandchildren Alicia Reynolds, Emily Dyess, Corey and Brady Kingery, Keller and Allie Kate Eakes and Brooklyn Baughman. Great-grandchildren Asher, Silas, Naomi, and Joseph Reynolds. Mother Maxine Eakes, brothers Harold Eakes, Ivea Eakes, Charles Eakes, and sisters Dian White and Doris Warren.

Randy will be missed and live on in hearts of his family and friends. He is now reunited with loved ones who have passed before him such as his father Ceary Eakes, and sister Sheila Mcgowen.
