Graveside services for Rebecca Nichols will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Davey Wilkinson officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Nichols, 95, of Meridian, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Bedford Care Center in Marion.

She is survived by her brothers, Paul Smith and wife Nell of Hattiesburg, and Jesse Smith and wife Bobbie Jean of Petal nieces, Edith Haefner of Birmingham, Alabama, and Helen Brown of Meridian great nephew, Brian Fortenberry and wife Amanda of Meridian and great nieces, Stacey Tank, and Rebecca Jackson both of Meridian, and Tanya Kilpatrick of Philadelphia.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Nichols parents, Benjamin William and Beulah Ashley Smith sisters, Maude Smith, Gertrude Crosby, Vivian Smith, and Beulah Williams and brothers, Ben, Tom, Alan, and Joe Smith.

Pallbearers will be Brian Fortenberry, Don Brown, Ken Delaney, James Riley, James Norman, and Ralph Fortenberry.
