Services for Rhen W. Pierce will be held Tuesday at 11 am at Webb Chapel with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pierce, 82, of Meridian, died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Anderson Regional Hospital. He served as Military Police in the U.S. Army and retired from Meridian & Bigbee Railroad. He was a member of State Boulevard Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Meridian.

He is survived by his wife, Nell Pierce; sister, Diane McGee and husband Wayne; brother in laws, Cecil Goforth and Bob Moore; nieces and nephews, Beth McGee Ezelle, Ken McGee, Stacy Goforth Spencer, Michael Goforth, Frank Moore, Cathy Moore Phelan, and Leslie Moore; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Clara Pierce; sister, Judy Goforth; sister in laws, Nan Hudson, Frankie Moore, and Mildred Moore; and brother in law, Edwin Moore.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10-11am at the funeral home.
