Richard Davidson Graveside services for Richard R.C. Davidson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Crenshaw officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Davidson, 82, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, in his home. He will be remembered as a loving, kind and patient man. His world revolved around his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was always helping others in need and had many close and special friends that he loved to visit and talk the day away with. His family will always have these memories of him. Survivors include his daughter, Bobbie Joyce Hagwood and her husband, Van, of Meridian; a son, Woodie Davidson and his wife, Nelda, of Meridian; grandchildren, Angela J. Davidson and her husband, Scotty, Chris V. Hagwood and his wife, Kym, and Tyler Davidson, all of Meridian; great-grandchildren, Trevor Davidson, Ethan Hagwood and Lexie Hagwood; brothers, James Davidson and his wife, Ina Jewel, of Meridian, Robert Davidson and his wife, Hilda, of Energy; sisters, Merle Woodrick and Inell Moffett, both of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Lucille Davidson of Snell and several nieces, nephews that were special to him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Joyce Davidson; an infant son, Jimmy W. Davidson; his parents, Ulmer and Winnie Davidson; a brother, Preston Davidson; a sister, Julia Reynolds and two brothers-in-law, J.W. Reynolds and C.W. Red Woodrick. Memorials may be made to Mt.
