Richard Smith

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Wayne Smith will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at 11:00 AM at James F. Webb Chapel with Revs. Tracy Marrs and Jim Rickles officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smith, age 66, of Meridian, died October 26, 2007. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and generous and helpful neighbor in his communtiy. He attended Broadmoor Baptist Church. He was a very patriotic to his country and proudly displayed the U.S. flag everyday. He enjoyed working outdoors in his garden. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his:

Wife of 42 years, Carole Keller Smith of Meridian

3 daughters: Kelly Hudddleston and husband Buster

Bethany Dolan and husband Gary

Hollie Kidd and husband Samuel Jr.

Sisters: Angieleen Goodman of Collinsville

Ouida Curry of Pasadena, TX

10 Grandchildren: Ashley Kidd, Hayley Stephens, Hunter Smith, Brianna Huddleston, Amanda Huddleston, Samuel Kidd, III, Mackenzie Dolan, Aaron Huddleston, Graci Kidd, and Hayden Dolan.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Daisy Smith; brother, Cody Smith; sister, Thelma Hales.

Pallbearers will be buster Huddleston, Gary Dolan, Samuel Kidd, Jr., Tommy Curry, Murphy Goodman and Keith Hales.

Visitation will be tuesday, November 27, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
