Graveside services for Robert M. Baskett, Jr. will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:30am at Stinson Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Baskett, 66, of Meridian, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Rush Hospital. Robert was an avid outdoorsman especially hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Johnson and husband David grandchildren, Zac Johnson, Nate Johnson, and Olivia Johnson aunt, Ellyn Stinson and cousins, Howard Stinson and wife Pat, and Susan Covert Wright and husband Dan.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.M. Slim Baskett, Sr. mother, Virginia Baskett infant brother, Baby Boy Baskett uncles, Johnnie Stinson and Jimmy Covert and an aunt, Jean Covert.

Pallbearers will be Howard Stinson, Dan Wright, Jr., Zac Johnson, Nate Johnson, David Johnson, Jonathan Ipock, Craig McFall, and Joe Hillman.
