Funeral services for Mr. Robert L. Cook will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Corinth Baptist Church with visitation at the church from 1:302 p.m., with Rev. Robert Higginbotham and Rev. Bob Followell officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cook, age 72, of Meridian, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at his home. He retired from Smith Bakery after working there for 38 years. He attended East Mississippi Community College and after graduating joined the Army National Guard. After his retirement he was an avid farmer and he was known in the Center Hill Community as local produce stand, providing produce for the families of the community.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanell Cook his children, Shane Cook, Wayne Cook and his wife Stephanie, Joy Cook, Susan Harris and her husband Everette, and Steve Dearman and his Tiffany two sisters, Elaine Jones and Carolyn Cumberland and her husband Norman grandchildren, Jackson Cook, Landon Cook, Karson Cook, Paxton Cook, Eli Boyd, Chloe Davis, Leigh Goldman and Justin Dearman great grandchildren, Boe Dearman and Mallie Goldman and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by mother and father, Innie and Louis Cook.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at Webb Funeral Home from 57 p.m.
