b. December 30, 1928

Robert Joel “Bobby Joe” Pratt passed away at his home on February 16, 2022.

Mr. Pratt, 93, will be remembered for his love of the old country music, his fine art of growing wonderful tomatoes and canning them. He will be missed as will his smile that would light up a room.

Mr. Pratt served his country in WWII and served the residents of Sumter County for many years as the owner of Pratt’s Cleaners. To many he was known as “Cowboy” or as Bobby Joe “ the little man in the yellow Cadillac.”

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilborn and Mabel Pratt; brothers W.C. Pratt and Louie Pratt and sister Emily Pratt Dial.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1pm at Livingston Memorial Gardens.

Webb & Stephens Funeral Home -North in Meridian are honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Blade, Ilya Goodbread, Joseph Messer, Jerry Watts, Michael Pratt and Eddie Mack Hines.
