Robert L. Bobby Thrash
Services for Robert L. Bobby Thrash will be held Wednesday at 10 am at Webb Chapel with Bro. Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Clarks Chapel Cemetery in Kemper County with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Thrash, 85, of Meridian, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Rush Hospital. He was an avid farmer, a retired sheet metal worker of local union 406, and he was a veteran of World War II. He loved farming and working outdoors and he loved spending time with his family, especially his three granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mazelle Thrash of Meridian daughter, Gail Switzer and husband Scott of Meridian son, Gary Thrash and wife Debbie Jo of Collinsville and granddaughters, Ashley Thrash of Collinsville, Anna Switzer and Katelyn Katey Switzer of Meridian.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Betty Thrash of Meridian sister, Florence Harris of Meridian and brothers, James Thrash and George Ed Thrash both of Meridian, and Bill Thrash of California.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 58 pm and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
