Robert David "Bubba" Welborn

A graveside service for Robert David “Bubba” Welborn will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park with Bro. Chuck Overby officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown.

Mr. Welborn, 68, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Hospital.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He also enjoyed fishing and reading his bible. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his two grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Welborn; grandchildren, Abby and Jared Welborn; brothers, Richard, Dale, Donnie, and Roger Welborn; mother of his daughter, Brenda Maxwell Welborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie Welborn.
