Graveside services for Mr. Roger Dale Joyner will be Monday at 10 am in Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Neshoba County. Rev. Larry Joyner will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Joyner,69, of Collinsville, passed away Thursday at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He retired from Lauderdale County as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. His family will have fond memories of him loving to pick and agitate other family members who he had nicknames for everyone in the family. Mr. Joyner enjoyed his morning coffee with his friends. He loved his dog Zeus.

His special love was for his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Joyner Stokes; son Wayne Withers; long time companion Sharon Spears; sisters Deborah Peterson and Kathy Verdin; grandchildren Logan Douglas Stokes, Georgia Withers and William Withers.

Mr. Joyner was preceded in death by his mother Maude Emily Foster; father Douglas Ray Joyner; brother Carl Joyner and sister Tammy Duckworth.
