Rolfeleen May

Funeral services for Mrs. Rolfeleen "Rocky" Hogue May will be held Wednesday at 1pm in the chapel of Barham Funeral Home - Forest Lawn Chapel. Rev. Jack Kern will be officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Mrs. May, 71, of Philadelphia, passed away Monday at Bedford Care of Marion.
She was a retired Direct Care Worker at East Mississippi State Hospital.
Mrs. May was a true southern lady who was never afraid to speak her mind or offer her opinion. She treated everyone she met as family, never meeting a stranger. She always had a smile to offer others and even though she may have been in pain, she always had a happy disposition. Mrs. May offered comfort and encouragement to those she would meet.
Her granddaughters were her "baby girls" and grandson was her "man in training". Her family was her love.
She is survived by her husband Mikel May; daughters Mechelle McDonald of Meridian, Tina M. Gray and husband Berry of Pace, FL, Tanya Thomas and husband John of Sylacauga, AL; brothers Ronald Hogue and wife Bobby, John R. Hogue Jr. and wife Sandra, Curtis R. Spears and wife Pattie; sisters Benji Bryant and husband Earl and Ellen Badon.
Mrs. May is also survived by her grandchildren Cierra Street, Nathan Thomas, Harlie Thomas, Olivia Gray, Raley May, Bradon May, Jacob Gray; great-grandchildren Addyson Street, Camryn Gray and Preston Gray; brothers in law Royce May and wife Sally, Mark May and wife Joyce, Jeff May and wife Donna; sister in law Sherry Jittanoonta and husband Vic.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Hogue and Erma Hogue Peterson; step father Carl Peterson; step mother Shirley Hogue; step son Kurt May and Step grandson Chris Gray.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online register at www.barhamfuneralhome.com.
