Services for Mrs. Rosa Etta Caraway will be held Saturday, Septermber 6, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Bro. Roy Dabbs officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Caraway, age 78, passed away on September 3, 2008 at Jeff Anderson Hospital. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church since she was eleven years old and taught Sunday School when she was fifteen. She was a house wife and worked at Super Stop for 6 years.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Caraway and Colon Paul Caraway; two daughters Christie Etta Rainer and Cindy Lynn Dearman; five sisters, Gladys Ezell, Mabel Riley, Dora Williams, Peggy Little and Clarice Ivy; two brothers, William Riley and Wayne Riley.
She is also survived by her her grandchildren, Diane Harper, Donna Mitchell, Debra Speed, Christopher Lafferty, Charrisa Shirley, Miranda Rainer, Kiley Dearman, Charity Thornton, Kathryn Dearman, Jason Caraway, Shawn Caraway, Karie Caraway, Sophie Odom, Anna Beale, and Christa Beale.
She is also survived by Great Grandchildren, Alyssa Beale, Summer Beale, Lana Beale, Braisier Caraway, Madison Miller, Matthew Miller, Trinity Beale, Logan Beale, Jude Caraway, Eva Caraway, Jace Caraway, Austin Caraway, and Olivia Caraway, Trey Mitchell, Brianna Mitchell, Amie Atkinson, Jackson Lafferty, Aslan Shirley, Owen Shirley, Cooper Lafferty, Jena marie Shirley, Lauren Holley, and Jonathan Holley.
Her Great Great Grandchildren are Jaron Speed, Conner Speed, and Patrick Ewing Atkinson.
She was preceded by her husband Maurice B. Caraway, one son, Michael Douglas Caraway and her parents, Clarence M. Riley and Eula Bell Riley.
BRVisitation will be from 10:00 A.M. -11:30 A.M. , Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Pleasant Hill Church.
