Roy O. Weathers

Services for Mr. Roy O. Weathers will be held Saturday at 11 am at Webb Chapel with Rev. Paul Raley officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill UMC Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Weathers, 77, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Biloxi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked with Arco Metals for 31 years and retired from Avery Dennison. He attended Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Meridian, and St. Paul Methodist Church in Ocean Springs. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his step children, Debbie Edwards and Albert Gammill, Jr. granddaughters, April Kattawar and husband David, and Amy Brand and husband Mike great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kelan Kattawar, and Addison, Aldon, and Deacon Brand sisters, Carol Jordan and husband Steve, Rae McMullan, and Elaine Hurtt and husband Bo and brother, James Weathers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Weathers brothers, Horace E. Weathers and Harold Stanley Weathers sister, Barbara Ann McCary and his parents, Willie and Maybell Weathers.

Pallbearers will be Mike Brand, Charlie McGee, Sonny Weathers, Terry Herrington, Thomas Box, Jimmy Weathers, and Keith Rigdon.
