Ruby Lucille Reeves Clearman passed away on July 2, 2014 at the age of 101. Ruby was born May 15, 1913, and was a resident of Meridian until 2006 when she left to live with her daughter, Sylvia Hall in Vancleave, MS. She was married for sixtyseven years to Odell Clearman of Meridian, who preceded her in death in 2002. Ruby was a devoted Christian woman and a member of Meridian Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and a woman of many talents. She loved gardening, cooking, painting, being a wife and mother, but her most accredited talents were her sewing skills and her ability to create beautiful pieces of ceramics. She belonged to the Ceramic Club of Bonita and enjoyed her Wednesday ceramic day for many, many years. Her ceramic and sewing creations adorn homes of hundreds of family and friends throughout the country. It was hard NOT to love Ruby Clearman. She was kind, loving, very funny, stern when needed, patient, and a wonderful teacher of many things. Ruby was the perfect example of a Christian woman to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but most assuredly, she will be the first in line to greet us when we see her in Glory
