Funeral Services for Ruby Elaine Griffin will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00am at Webb Chapel with Bro. Mike Boles officiating. Burial will be Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Griffin, 59, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Evangel Temple and loved her family. She was the cofounder of the Meridian Activity Center, where she enjoyed cooking and avid artist
She is survived by her son, Earl Hamilton mother, Betty Knight granddaughter, Alexus Hamilton and a brother, Robert Knight
She is preceded by her grandparents, O.C and Ruby Yarbrough and father, William H. Tharpe.
Pallbearers will be Earl Hamilton, Jimmy Irby, Colton Johns, Roddy Johns, Robert Knight and Cliff Pulliam.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Evangel Temple.
