Services for Mrs. Ruby Elizabeth Yarbrough will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Webb Chapel with the Rev. Mike Boles officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery in Bonita area. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Yarbrough, 94, died February 16, 2010 at Riley Hospital. She was born in Neshoba County, MS. Ruby worked at Bernlleys and May Webb Hosiery Mill most of her life. Her greatest accomplishments were working with children at East End Assembly of God and Evangel Temple Churches. She loved children and wanted them to know the love their heavenly Father had for them. Her legacy goes on with many of those children growing up to be Sunday school teachers and pastors.
She is survived by her one daughter, Betty Knight and her husband, Bobby two grandchildren: Elaine Griffin and Robert Knight three great grandchildren: Earl Hamilton, Roddy and Colton Johns and one great great grandchild, Alexus Hamilton many nieces, nephews and dear friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Yarbroughbrothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Steve Cox, Larry Cox, Tommy Cox, Mike Allen, Mike Burkes and Pete Nause. Honorary pallbearers will be her Victory Sunday school class.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Webb Funeral Home.
The family request donations be made to the Evangel Temple Church.
