Mr. Rudy N. Jones

Services for Mr. Rudy N. Jones will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Union Baptist Church in Kemper County at 2 pm with Bro. Mike Vick and Bro. Gregg Chamblee officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 5 - 8:30 pm at Webb Funeral Home and on Friday from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home will be in charge of his arrangements.

Mr. Jones, 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Rudy served for three years in the Air National Guard. He started working for A&P Grocery as a bag boy and eventually became the manager. After that he worked for Food Max and Winn Dixie until he became disabled and unable to work. He loved to spend time in the outdoors and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Madie "Ann" Hurtt Jones; Sisters, Peggy Grace (Charlie) of Zachary, LA and Nelda Dearman (Jay) of Meridian; Daughters, Nita Thorn and Debra Atkins; Son, Jerry Jones; Seven Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alleen Price Jones.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Union Baptist Church in Kemper County.
