Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Deale Brody will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brody, age 92, was born on Dec. 16, 1920 in Shuqualak, MS and passed away peacefully on March 3, 2013 at her home in Madison, AL. She retired as an accountant for the Meridian Housing Authority in 1984. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and reading the Bible.

She is survived by her Two Sons, Steven Robert Brody of Elk Grove, CA and Jeffrey Philip Brody and his wife Shelia of Madison, AL by her Four Granddaughters, Lisha KarpayBrody, Hallie Brody Bagwell, Ashley Brody Vaughn and Katherine Grace Katie Brody and by Four Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Harmon A. Brody by her Mother, Mamie Deale and by her Brother, John Wilson Deale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home from 11 11:30 a.m.
