Mrs. Ruth Christine Stallings May

Services for Mrs. Ruth Christine Stallings May, of Meridian, will be held Monday, February 3, 2014, at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian with Rev. Bryant May officiating.

Ruth was born September 12, 1924 in Ward, Alabama. She went home to be with the Lord on January 30, 2014, while living in Brandon, MS.

She is survived by her son, Rev. Michael David May and his wife, Karen of Brandon, MS two grandchildren, Rev. Bryant May and wife, Heather, of Pearl, MS and Melissa May of Brandon, MS greatgrandson, Braylon Franklin May of Pearl, MS sister, Myrtle Stallings brother, Joe Stallings and wife, Sue all of Meridian, MS and sisterinlaw, Eula Mae Stallings of York, AL nephew and nieces, Robert Starnes of Fort Worth, TX, Gina Hamburg of Houston, TX and Teresa Nester of Meridian, MS and their families.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin May two sisters, Verdie Lee Stallings Starnes and Velma Stallings and one brother, William David Stallings.

Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2014, from 12:303:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the building fund of The Exchange Church, P.O. Box 54525 Pearl, MS. 39288.
