Ruth Smith

Services for Mrs. Ruth McLemore Smith will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Webb Chapel with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarke County. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, age 87, of Quitman, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at River Parish Hospital in LaPlace, Louisiana.

She is survived by her a son, Glover Mac McElroy and wife, Susie of St. Rose, LA; a daughter, Gail Todd and husband, Jack of Soso, MS; a brother, R.L. McLemore of Quitman, MS; three grandchildren: Gay Lynn Rogers and husband, Ronnie; Lana Jefcoat and husband, Jason; Sara Rodriguez and husband, Andy; two great- grandchildren: Todd Rogers and Abbigail Rodriguez; one great- great grandson, Jackson Todd Rogers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Leroy Smith; parents, Lee Amos McLemore and Lucy Bell McLemore; a sister, Joyce McLemore.

Pallbearers will be Todd Rogers, Ronnie Rogers, Jason Jefcoat, Cliff Gavin, Andy Rodriguez and Raymond McDonald.
