Mrs. John W. (Ruth) Temple

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Temple was held on Thursday at 10:30 am at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Temple, 90, of Meridian, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Oaks Rehabilitation Center. She was an avid animal lover, and was especially fond of the family pet, "Bogey." She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Thomas C. Temple and wife Patsy Gambill Temple of Meridian; granddaughter, Kim Temple McCarty and husband Jonathan of Singapore; and great granddaughter, Isabella Ruth McCarty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Temple; parents, Ora L. and Marie Blake; and a brother, Cliff Blake.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the East MS Animal Rescue, 2440 North Hills Street, Suite 105, PMB 107, Meridian, MS 39305
Pallbearers will be Joe Burt, David Weaver, Roger Shirley, Howard McCarty, George Thomas, and Odis Howze.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
