Services for Carolyn Tucker Scott will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Rev. Dusty Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Scott, 99, of Meridian, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at Baptist Anderson’s Hospital.

Carolyn was a former employee of Rea, Shawn, Griffin, and Stuart CPA’s. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Marion. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved and cared for all animals.

She is survived by her son, James Tucker Scott of Meridian; sister, Mary Tucker Connor (Lewis) of Ridgeland, MS; niece, Mary C. Stewart (Lee) of Columbiana, AL; nephew, Thomas L. Conner (Sage) of Madison, MS; great nieces, Caitlin and Leah Conner of Madison, MS; and her sweet cats, Grayson and Charlie.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jimmie J. Scott; parents, Grady P. and Edna Earl Wood Tucker; and sister, Jimmye Tucker Huff, all of Meridian.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
