Sallie Lois Barrett Gammill Weathers

Services for Mrs. Sallie Weathers will be held Saturday at 11 am at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill United Methodist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Weathers, 90, of Meridian, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at River Chase Village in Gautier, Ms. She attended Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Meridian. She retired with 21 years of service with Peavey Electronics. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Weathers son, Albert Gammill, Jr. daughter, Deborah Faye Gammill Edwards granddaughters, April Kattawar and husband David, and Amy Brand and husband Mike great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kelan Kattawar, and Addison, Aldon, and Deacon Brand and many other friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Frank Barrett and wife Lillian, and James William Barrett and wife Norma soninlaw, James Donald Edwards and the father of her children, Albert Gammill, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Keith Barrett, Chris Barrett, David Kattawar, Mike Brand, Eddie Massey, and Timmy Lucas.
