Samuel Thornton

Services for Mr. Buddy Thornton will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Enterprise Baptist Church with Bro. Macon Phillips officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until service time, at the church.  Interment will be in Enterprise Cemetery.

Mr. Buddy passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Wisteria Manor.  He was retired from Roberson Gas.  After his retirement he went to work at Long's Fish camp.  He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his Son, Samuel Eugene "Gene" Thornton; Daughters, Laura Lee Wallace and Selena Peek; Step Son, Kevin Richardson; Brother, David Thornton; and his Grandchildren, Jagger Thornton, Logan Thornton, and Chase Wallace.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tennis and Maggie Thornton; and by his wife, Bonnie Thornton.
