Mrs. Sara J. Fisher

Services for Mrs. Sara J. Fisher will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Williams officiating. Interment will be held in the Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fisher, age 76, of Meridian, passed away on August 2, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in the Zero Community, where she played the piano for many years. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and a thankful and compassionate friend.

She is survived by her Husband, Robert Gene Fisher and her Daughter, Gena Chancelor, both of Meridian One Son, Robert Fisher and his wife Janice of New Albany, IN One Brother, Cliff Jenkins and his wife Carolyn of Meridian by Three Grandchildren, Lyndsey Patrick and her husband Hayes, Emily Howard, and Taylor Fisher by Three Great Grandsons, Josiah Patrick, Luke Patrick, and Nathan Patrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Alice Jenkins.

Visitation will be held at Webb Funeral Home on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 5 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 11:00 a.m.

Family request in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church building fund, 5025 Zero Road, Meridian, MS 39301.
