Sara Nell Moore Pierce

Services for Nell Pierce will be held Thursday at 11am at Webb Chapel with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pierce, 81, of Meridian, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Anderson Hospital. She graduated from Martin High School and from EMCC. She had a long career as an administrative specialist with USF&G. She was a devout Christian and a member of State Blvd. and First Baptist Church Meridian.

She is survived by her brother, Bob Moore; brother in law and sister in law, Wayne and Diane McGee; brother in law, Cecil Goforth; special nieces and nephews, Frank Moore, Cathy Moore Phelan, Leslie Moore, Beth McGee Ezelle, Ken McGee, Stacy Goforth Spencer, and Michael Goforth; she had a great relationship with her numerous great nieces and nephews who all called her "Sis".

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Rhen Pierce; parents, Oswald and Sarah Moore; sister, Nan Hudson and husband Tom; brother, Edwin Moore and wife Mildred; and sister in laws, Frankie Moore and Judy Goforth.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
