Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Curry will begin at 12 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Marshall of Westwood Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time. Interment will follow at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Webb Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Mrs. Curry, 82, of Meridian passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Mrs. Curry was a longtime member of Westwood Baptist Church and while able, was active in “Son”shiners and the Ruth Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, James D. Curry, Jr., Madeira, CA; brother, Frankie Crawford (Carolyn); sister, Mae Laeverne Culpepper (Raymond); sisters-in-law, Diane Crawford and Grace Crawford; and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends. Mrs. Curry is preceded in death by her husband, James D. (Jim) Curry; parents, Ernest and Irene Crawford; brothers, Ernest (Buddy) Crawford, Eugene (Jack) Crawford, and Wayne Crawford; sister, Dorothy (Dot) Rawls. Mrs. Curry was a resident of Poplar Springs Nursing Center where she was loved and cared for. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of PSNC and to the staff at Anderson Regional Medical Center for their compassion and care.
