Services for Sarah D. Deanie Welch will be held Tuesday, November 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to time of service. Interment will be held at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Welch, age 93, passed away Saturday November 1st. Having lived most of her life in Meridian she had spent the last few years with her daughter Cindy and soninlaw Randy in Jonesboro Georgia. Prior to moving to Georgia Deanie was employed as a tailor at Willies Menswear and Harry Mayer, Inc. in Meridian.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy McCaslin and husband Randy of Jonesboro Georgia, sister Peggy Sellers of Meridian, 4 grandchildren Stacy Herring Scott of Plentywood Montana, Lance Herring and wife Jennifer of Langley SC, Ashley Welch Oliver and husband Brent of Murfreesboro TN, Christina Herring Lundeen and husband John of Hoover AL, 9 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Eugene Welch.
