Sharon Hurt

Services for Sharon Hurt will be on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Overby and Rev. Reggie Manning officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:30 until service time.
Sharon was the daughter of Aileen Lenora Dannelly Milstead and Richard Edward Milstead. she had 1 deceased brother, another brother Wayne, 3 sisters: Shirley, Carrie, and Brenda. Sharon Hurt was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama where she later moved to Meridian, Mississippi. Sharon had a passion for cooking, so she put her skills to use and attended MCC for hotel and restaurant management. As the years went on, she found herself selling cookies at the cookie store in the mall and working at the Red Hot Truck Stop.
She has four children of her own: Mary Alieen Smith, Aril Pearl Roberts, Ricky Lee Roberts, and Rev. Mickey Edward Roberts. Sharon was married to her loving husband Verylon (Louie) Hurt for 12 years. He has 2 children of his own, Sam Hurt, whose children are Alexis Hurt and Brunden Hurt, and his daughter Frances Whitt, whose children are Ashton Hurt and Joshua Irby.
Sharon had numerous hobbies like fishing, dining in at Olive Garden, attending flee markets, traveling to Tennessee to look at the mountains, crocheting, listening to the song Baby Shark, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren Zachary Wayne Smith and Christopher Tyler Smith, Jacob Roberts, Michah Roberts, Mason, Conrad, Hannah Roberts, Peyton Roberts, Katie Roberts, Solomon Roberts, Archie Baldwin, Isaiah Roberts, and great grandchildren Braelynn Elaine Smith, daughter of Tyler and Destiny Smith, Libby and London Donald, daughter of Katie Roberts and CJ Donald. Sharon had one son-in-law, Shane Smith, and three daughter-in-laws, Tyler Holton Roberts, Terrie Roberts, and (April Baldwin Roberts). Sharon was an outstanding woman who touched the lives of many hearts and souls. She loved by many family and friends who will cherish her memory and will forever be in their hearts
