Shirley Diane Jones

     Shirley Diane (Mixon) Jones, 77, of Suqualena, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, at Anderson Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

     She was born to David Curtis and Rosalene (Whitehead) Mixon on May 14, 1946, in Lauderdale County.  Shirley worked for a number of years at Peavey Electronics Corporation, serving in several positions, with the most recent having been Supervisor in the Amplifier Assembly Department.  She was very proud of her career at Peavey's and loved to reflect on her time there.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Jones; sister, Joyce Temple; and nephews, Stephen Temple and Donny Hahn.

     She is survived by her son and his wife, Billy and Sandra Alberts; brother and sister-in-law, David and Peggy Mixon; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
