Siddie Belle Covington Massengale

Services for Siddie Massengale will be held Friday at 3pm at Webb Chapel with Rev. Mark Flynn officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Massengale, 96, of Meridian, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Rush Hospital. She was a long time member of Central Presbyterian and current member of Trinity Presbyterian. The church was central to her life where she served as an Elder, was an officer with the Presbyterian Women, and taught Sunday School.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Harwell of Stony Point, NY; grandson, Wayne Harwell of Sarasota, FL; granddaughter, Laura Ribble of Alexandria, VA; and great grandchildren, Will Harwell, Madeleine Harwell, Jack Ribble, and Allison Ribble.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Massengale; and a brother, John Lawrence Covington, Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4223 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian, MS 39305

Visitation will be Friday from 2-3 pm at the funeral home.
