Steven Henderson

A celebration of life service for Steven Henderson will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian. Bro. Michael Wells and Bro. Chris Gully will officiate, with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Mr. Henderson, age 49, of DeKalb, passed away January 13 at Rush Hospital.

Steven was born and raised in Meridian, MS. From a very early age, he developed a love of the outdoors, either hunting or fishing, and he shared this love with his sons. He had a passion for cars, cooking, and music, but his greatest passion was for his family and friends. Steven will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Steven is survived by his sons, Grant Perry Henderson, William Kyle Henderson and Andrew Jace Henderson; his love, Melia Fuller; his parents, Parker and Viola Henderson; siblings, Jerry (Marsha) Henderson, Melanie McQuaig, and Tommy Henderson; nieces, Jessica McQuaig Rudd and Megan Henderson, and nephew, Matthew Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Hunter Lamar McQuaig and his niece, Alicia Henderson.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Henderson, Steve Sodoma, Mike Hinson, David Sanders, Chet Parker, and Scott McQuaig.
